This crop is named Industrial Hemp, and our American farmers are very interested in reintroducing it to our homeland soil. My
"Happy Earth Textiles" are imported from Canada, China, and Eastern Europe. They are spun into beautiful linen, twill, woven, and canvas, and all are very suitable and desirable in the making of furniture slipcovers.

Some of the hemp is blended with organic cotton, silk, or recycled polyester, creating unique qualities of suppleness, sheen, and strength. It is milled in weights from 4 to 18 oz. and in natural hues and dyes. Custom colors are also available by special order.

I am personally convinced of these textiles because of the real pleasure derived while working with them. They do not emit toxic fumes as I cut and sew, and they do not scratch up the skin on my hands as do many synthetics. Organically speaking, they send me nutritional and loving vibes from their Source.
