I have been sewing since eleven years old. In high school home ec class, my teacher just let me go with whatever was my personal clothing project. Years later, I was hired as a seamstress into the upholstery industry, and in those “trenches”, was able to learn from the masters of the trade just what furniture was all about. Years later, my personal ambition of entrepreneurship kicked in, and with the comeback and popularity of slipcovers, my business was launched at the perfect time.
“I Do Slipcovers” was officially recognized in 1994 when Westword “Best of Denver” honored my efforts and passion:
